Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ClauTours ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Questions? Email [email protected].

1. The service

ClauTours lets you search flight departures and arrivals by airport and date. Flight data is provided by third-party sources and is shown for informational purposes only. Always verify schedules, terminals, and flight status with your airline or airport before travelling. We are not an airline, travel agent, or booking service.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use search features.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account).

3. Plans and subscriptions

Free20 tokens lifetime. Does not renew.

Pro — $4.99/month200 tokens / month.

Pro Plus — $9.99/month500 tokens / month.

Pro Super Plus — $5,000/month300,000 tokens / month. You'll be generous with us — we'll be Super generous with you.

What's included. The Free plan is a single-airport flight checker: search any one airport, browse departures and arrivals, and view flight status and details. Metro-area searches that cover several airports at once (such as "Paris · All Airports"), multi-flight route building, and automatic day-ahead loading (Balanced / Seamless modes) require Pro, Pro Plus or Pro Super Plus.

Live countdowns. On paid plans, "Flight in" countdowns and Departed status update live every second. On the Free plan, countdown labels refresh about every 5 minutes — flights still switch to "Departed" at their scheduled departure time.

How tokens are counted. Plans are metered in tokens — the calls our servers make to the flight-data provider on your behalf. A search of a single airport for one full day uses 2 tokens (one for each half of the day). Searching today's date after noon at the airport uses only 1 token — the morning half has already passed and is not fetched. A metro-area search such as "Paris · All Airports" uses up to 2 tokens per airport covered — e.g. Paris (CDG + ORY + BVA) uses 6 tokens, New York (JFK + EWR + LGA) uses 6, London (5 airports) uses 10.

What does not reduce your balance. Following days for the same airport that the app loads as you browse (up to 7 days ahead) are included at no charge and are not deducted. How eagerly they load depends on the Data loading setting described below. Results already cached on our servers (about 30 minutes for today's flights, longer for other days) also cost nothing. Pulling to refresh fetches live status and is counted like a new search.

What does reduce your balance. Every call actually sent to the provider is counted once it is made — including automatic retries when the provider briefly rate-limits or returns an error. Only calls never sent (cache hits, or no provider connection) are free.

Data loading. In Settings → Data loading you choose how eagerly the app keeps following days ready while you browse a day's results:

MinimalLoads only the day you searched — nothing else. Scrolling past the end shows no further days. Fewest tokens; the only mode available on the Free plan.

Balanced — defaultAutomatically loads the next day as you near the end of today's list (right away if today has few flights). Further days load as you keep scrolling. Requires a paid plan.

SeamlessKeeps the next day loaded and ready at all times for uninterrupted browsing. Uses the most tokens. Requires a paid plan.

Paid plans are auto-renewable subscriptions billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. They renew monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Abuse, scrape, or bulk-extract data from the service, or attempt to bypass quotas.
Interfere with the backend, other users, or third-party data providers.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Accuracy and liability

Flight data and news headlines come from third-party sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClauTours is not liable for missed flights, schedule changes, travel decisions, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its branding are the property of ClauTours. Airport and flight data remain the property of their respective providers.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.
